I have tutored students from middle school to the collegiate level. I have tutored these students in courses ranging from Basic Mathematics through Calculus (AP and College). I enjoy working with students one-on-one. My goal is to help students learn mathematical concepts and apply their understanding and knowledge to solve problems. I will work with work with students to meet their individual educational and academic goals. I personalize my tutoring to meet each student's needs, whether they be to pass a course or to fully grasp a mathematical concept. I have done extensive tutoring for the SAT Math and ACT Math test sections. I am very familiar with the types of problems on these tests and how to solve such problems in the most efficient method. I am very patient with my students during the tutoring sessions. I realize that there are different methods to solve math problems and work with the student to explain how to solve the problem by the method that works best for them. I am a full-time professor at a local university. I have been a university math professor for over 25 years.
