I have not been a tutor before, but I have done academic mentoring through a big brother big sister mentorship organization. I would love to help young students achieve greater success than I have, I believe tutoring is an evidence-based method for effective intervention in assisting students to achieve higher levels of success in academics.

Hobbies
I like to play basketball, watch comedies, also help others. I am a minister, so my morals and beliefs are what guide me even in my hobbies and interests. I do not engage in negative environments or situations. I am interested in social work: assessing problems and creating intervention methods for clients and I am currently pursing a masters degree in social work. I really enjoy working with youth. I have been involved with working with children and adolescents almost all of my teenage-adult life in many different capacitates, so I would be interested in the challenge and the great opportunity to tutor students from K-12
